What are your office hours?
Although we frequently answer the phone through the weekend, our regular office hours are 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday. If you catch the answering machine, please speak slowly and clearly. Leave your name, phone number (remember the area code), date and time. Your call will be returned as soon as we return to the office.
How long before I receive my order?
If your order is received early in the morning, we may be able to get it out the same day. Large orders usually take 24 hours. We ship UPS,
unless other arrangements are necessary. For the continental US, orders will take from 2 – 7 days to reach you depending on the distance you live from Lubbock, Texas.
How do I pay for the materials?
We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover Card, personal checks, money orders, billing for Purchase Orders, COD
orders included additional UPS charges.
Do you offer discounts for quantity orders?
We are frequently able to offer discounts for quantity orders. Call us for information (1-800-762-0189). Check this

I am a director with a staff of 23. Do I understand you to say I can make a one-time purchase of the video module and reproduce the study material for everyone on my staff?
YES! Once you purchase the video module, it becomes part of your training library and you may reproduce the study materials as needed for training. This is very cost effective. You may not reproduce the study material for resale. You may not reproduce the video.
May I preview a module?
Previews are limited to three video tapes. You must provide a school/ institution purchase order, MasterCard, Visa or Discover number. You are responsible for the expense of returning the preview copies via UPS or certified mail. If returned tapes or written materials are lost or damaged in transit you will be held responsible for their cost. Failure to return tapes within 30 days will result in our billing your school, your MasterCard, Visa or Discover.
How long do I have to complete the study module?
Clock
hours: If you purchase the study program, Self Dimensions is not involved in the completion time. It will depend on when you need your clock hours. If you are using one of our rental programs, you have 30 days to complete the program and return the video to Self Dimensions.
CEUs: If you are working for a CEU you have 90 days to complete the program and return it to Self Dimensions for grading.
PDUs: If you are working for a PDU, you have 30 days to complete the program and return the video with your completed written materials to Self Dimensions.
Who grades the programs?
In states where it is permitted, the director of the facility may grade the study material and award the certificates. Reproducible certificates are included in the study package.
(In Texas, the director may grade and
award the certificates if the course is presented as a Direct Training
workshop. If the material is completed by individual staff as a
self-instructional course, TDPRS now requires the issuing agency to
grade the work. Completed courses must be returned to Self
Dimensions along with a $3.00 grading / processing fee per person per
course.)
For HOME CARE providers: return completed module to Self
Dimensions for grading. The grading fee is included in the
original cost of the material.
For PDUs: return completed module to Self Dimensions for
grading. The grading fee is included in the original cost of the
material.
For CEUs: return completed module to Self Dimensions for
grading. The grading / processing fee is included in the original
cost of the material.
How do I know if I can use the clock hours in my state?

I am a home care provider. Do I have to purchase the video?
The study modules for home care providers have been adapted to meet the specific needs of individuals caring for children in a home setting. Realizing that it is not cost effective for a home care provider to purchase a video for a one-time training use, we have established a rental program. Click

How many rental courses may I order at a time?
If you are renting, you may order up to three programs at a time.
Is there any specific order in which I need to complete the programs?
Not really. Although a few videos have a Part 1 and a Part 2, each video program stands alone and can be completed independently.
How does the CEU program differ from the clock hour program?
The clock hour program and the CEU program use the same video. Most of the required written material is the same. When working toward a CEU, however, additional activities, summaries, projects and in some cases hands-on experiences are required. From one to three text books are required for each CEU program.
