PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT UNITS

this time Self Dimensions, Inc. is unable to provide PDU courses. We
are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
(Usually required by individuals in the field of Home Economics)
PDUs are Professional Development Units pre-approved by the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS). The self-study programs from Self Dimensions, Inc. are commercial programs which have been designed for educational, self-paced instruction, and which have been pre-approved by the Office of Certification.
If you wish to earn your PDUs using the self-study programs from Self Dimensions, Inc., please do the following:

Decide on the course(s) you wish to complete. To view

Once you have selected the course(s), complete the
ORDER FORM. Include your check, money order or credit card information
(credit card orders may be faxed to 1-806-792-9309) and mail to:

Your order will be mailed
(*UPS or US Post Office) within 48 hours.

Your course includes written material to be completed along with a 30 day rental of the video tape. The tape must be returned to Self Dimensions at the end of the 30 days.

When you have completed the written course work, return it to Self Dimensions (Attention: PDU Grading). Upon successful completion of the course work, a certificate showing the number of PDUs earned, along with the graded course work will be sent to you, usually within three days.

Although we keep a copy of the test and the certificate on file, it is the responsibility of the individual to retain the original certificate documenting the successful completion of the course.

The tape rental fee is based on $4.00 per PDU awarded. Courses range from 3 PDUs to 13 PDUs.
Please note: If a group wishes to work on a course together, it is more cost-effective to rent one video with each participant purchasing the individual course work packet ($10.00).
